War is a popular online casino card game from

A player wagers a bet and places that bet on the gaming table. Bet amounts for the game range from a low of $0.10 to a maximum of $600.00. It depends on the setting of the game and where it is being played. Once all bets have been placed, the first round of play begins.

The dealer hands out two cards. One card goes to the player and one card goes to the dealer. Whoever draws the highest value card wins both cards. In the event that both the dealer and the player draw the same card value, there are two options available. A player can select to go to 'war' or 'surrender' and move on to the next hand.

When the decision is made to go to 'war', a player must increase the initial bet amount. Three cards are taken from the top of the pile and laid face down on the playing table. A dealer then deals one card to the player and one card to the dealer.

At the same time, both cards are flipped over to reveal the point values. If the player holds the higher value card, the player wins. If the dealer holds the higher value card, the dealer wins. Up to ten times the initial bet stands to be won.
